New to the shop: Initial Bracelets!

I had such an awesome time making these... I thought that the best pieces of jewellery are the ones that are minimal :).

They are now for sale in the shop, and I will add some more once I have finished them!

What I've been up to: Lookbook pictures

I've been wanting to get my creations in more boutiques, so I've been compiling a lookbook to send to them, so they'll know how great my jewellery would look with different outfits, whether or not they are dressed up, or down. I'd like to do more of this each season, because I really enjoyed dressing up and expressing myself! :).

New in the shop: Goody bags

Whimsical Jewellery Set Goody Bag no.1

Whimsical Jewellery Set Goody Bag no.1

Whimsical Jewellery Set Goody Bag no.2

Whimsical Jewellery Set Goody Bag no.3

Whimsical Jewellery Set Goody Bag no.4

So I've been making some lovely new goody bags for the shop, in order to get rid of some jewellery supplies  that have been hanging around in the studio for AGES. These would make lovely stocking fillers, a treat to yourself, or even as small individual gifts to loved ones!

All of them come in lovely handmade paper gift bags as well, so they are 100% made with love through and through. They are limited though, and once they are gone, they are gone!

Gifts for him

So, ladies, if you have a lovely, stylish boyfriend/other half that you would like to introduce to some quirky things, then look no further! There are some pieces that you can snap up that they could rock! :)

Rust Red Mens Recycled Tank Top
Rust Men's Vest Top, £5. I can imagine this, being worn with some jeans and a cardigan... it's such an effortless piece, which is what I love about making things for men.

Red Recycled Medium Button Earrings
Red Button Ear Studs, £2. If your man has pierced ears, this cheap and cheerful piece, is an excellent way to  jazz up an outfit.

Gold Lion Necklace
Gold Lion Necklace, £8. These three pieces together, would make a rocking outfit! You can wear it on a night out or on casual days.

Hope you all have found this useful!

Gifts for under £20

So, if you're willing to splash out a little bit on gifts, like I am for my family this year... I have a few things that you may like:

White Grey and Brown Striped Sleeveless Hoodie

White, Grey and Brown stripe sleeveless top, £12. This would look great with skinny jeans, tracksuit bottoms, or a lovely yoga skirt,  and boots/trainers, layered with some cute animal jewellery!

Whimsical Patchwork Pullstring Backpack no.7

Whimsical Patchwork Backpack, £12. I have a patchwork bag too, and it definitely is a piece that compliments your outfit. It's also a quirky, practical alternative to the ordinary tote bag.

Brown Stripe Owl Applique Tank Top

Brown Stripe Owl Applique Top, £13. This is one piece that you can wear as a baggy top for the slimmer ladies, or still a flattering piece for the more curvaceous ladies. It's totally win-win.

 Orange Stripe Patchwork Tube Dress

Orange Stripe Patchwork Dress, £16. A cute day dress, that you could wear with a headscarf and cardigan in the winter, or in the summer, it's best worn with slippers or sandals, it's that versatile.

Grey Pink and Black Suedette Patchwork Tote

Patchwork Tote, £12. This is one of a few pieces made from fake suede, so you can stay stylish and animal free! Is great for carrying books, knitting gear and other every day items!

Gifts for Under £10

So, if your budget isn't so stretched and you could afford some cute clothing, you're bound to find something over at my shop. :)

Brown and Grey Leopard Print V Neck Dress

Brown and Grey Leopard Print V neck Dress, £8. This is so quirky, I love it. You could wear this on a night out, or even just something you can effortlessly wear on your day-to-day lifestyle. Either way, you're going to make a statement with this.

Yellow and Pink Upcycled Cardigan
Yellow and Pink Upcycled Cardigan, £5. This is one of my simplest of quirky pieces. This is also a good way to spruce up your wardrobe, especially if you're a t shirt and jeans kind of person.

Yellow Heart Applique Vest Top

Yellow Heart Applique Vest Top- £5. I would say this is my favourite piece. If I were a size smaller, I would wear this. You could wear this with a pair of jeans, skirt or shorts! This is also so unique, that it cannot be made again, because this was made with vintage scrap materials.

Blue Patterned Print Tunic Shirt

Blue Patterned Print Tunic Shirt, £10. This shirt is vintage, and the way it has been upcycled makes this piece uber comfortable, and stylish.

Pink Patchwork Recycled Coin Purse

Pink Patchwork Purse, £4. This is so handy for all your make up or loose change, and is so cute!

Gifts for Under £5

It's nearly Christmas, and it's usually quite hard to find a decent present for someone, especially if you're on a budget! I'll be doing a series over the next few weeks, to hopefully give you an idea of what you can get for the loved one that is unique, one of a kind, and quirky :)

Here are some options:

Rhino Necklace

Rhino Necklace, £4. I personally love rocking these jewellery pieces with a basic outfit, which is normally a baggy t shirt and skinny jeans/shorts. You needn't need to be overly quirky to rock this piece!

Pink Lips Quirky Silver Ring
Pink Lips Ring, £3. This would be great to rock on a night out, or something that would be an accessory to an already rocking outfit.

Medium Grey Button Ear Studs
Grey Button Ear Studs, £2. A good, simple piece to have if you've gone down the dark colour route this season.

Tiger Animal Gold Ring

Tiger Ring, £3. When I'm feeling extra quirky, I love to wear this with gorgeous flared dresses and converses. This is definitely a complimentary ring.

Blue and White Handmade Earring/Bangle Set

Blue and White Yarn Wrapped Earring/Bangle Set, £2.50. This is currently on sale in the shop at the moment, but this is great for someone who isn't into animal jewellery, or isn't necessarily into overtly quirky things, but still want some unique jewellery. This is it!

All these, as gifts, would be lovely!

Artists I love: Lazy Oaf

I absolutely love this lovely, quirky clothing label... as always, it's lovely independent companies like these that push me to push my business further! Lazy Oaf's label, founded by Gemma Shiel is literally so upbeat and wonderful, I would love to own a piece :).

I think the fact that it's built up so awesomely over the 11 years it's been run, and I'd like to be blissfully happy with Handmade by Ify in that time too!

I also LOVE how quirky these pieces are:

Nearly as much as crisps card

Jazzy Notebook

Panther Crop T Shirt

Mixed Fruit Crop T Shirt

Mixy Mini Rucksack

I will one day snap up these pieces :)
