Lately I've been thinking up ways to be better with my shop, and here are some news that I'm going to share with you all!
Cheaper posting
I'm going to subscribe to the print and post option with Royal Mail, which means faster dispatch, and you save money on postage and packaging!
Gift Vouchers
I will be sending £5 gift vouchers for orders over £30 and re-introducing coupon cards for all other orders.
Made to Order listings
Made to order listings on etsy will be available, so that no one misses out on any stylish garments and jewellery. :)
Regular listings
I will be listing new items at least twice a week, which means LOADS of things to choose from- you will always be spoilt for choice!
Upcycling service
I will be introducing wardrobe & jewellery box "surgery" listings on specific style items/your own style. Everyone needs to save money, and with people resorting to throwing away things, I want to make a small difference in saving them from the landfill and upcycling them.
These are some small changes, but I'm hoping it makes a huge difference!

Shop Updates
I have even more stuff in my shop! I've noticed that over half of my stock there is jewellery so I'm trying to balance that out with clothes again! I wish I could make clones of myself so that I can make lots of lovelies for you all to enjoy :).

More new clothes!

New Clothes!
I have new clothes in stock! It's been such a while since I added clothes in the shop. I have some more to add tomorrow, but I'm pretty tired. I have started sewing up my accessories for my new shop in the summer, and it's looking pretty good! It looks very feminine, which seems like an ultra ego to my usual style, but I love it. The shop is going to be extra quirky and very unique. Can't wait to till it's all pieced together.

My first ever giveaway!
I'm so excited- I've always wanted to do one, but I've never had enough of a cohesive collection in my shop to give one away. Now though, I'm doing this just to see what kind of response I get from everyone.
I accidently messed up a little though, because I didn't mention where you can name your favorite item! So if you haven't already, if you follow me on Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr, and name the item on there :).
You have got to be in it to win it, so come and enter for your chance! <3

New Jewellery.
I have made more jewellery at last! It is really for people who always like to have certain pieces to make a statement of the whole outfit. I have made it in gold and silver, and although I have made enough of a variety, it is only in limited quantities, so please snag them while you can.
Katherine xo
p.s I haven't listed any of the gold pieces for sale yet, so if you want them, I'll be listing them for sale tomorrow!

My week in Photos.
Hello! :)
As I write this, I am waiting for my paint to dry in my sketchbook, I love to paint! :)
On Tuesday, it was my birthday, and it was nice, because I got so much love on facebook and texts and at Uni. Unfortunately I was ill so I was barely at Uni, just had some cakes with my friends, which they loved. I got lots of presents, all of which I loved; especially the kindle, business book and jewellery kit to get me started on my new jewellery venture, which I have created in my shop:

On Wednesday, I had some dinner and drinks with my friends, at the slug and lettuce, which was nice and I was tired by the end of that night!
On Friday, I had some dinner with my friends in Benihannas in Picadilly, it was really fun, especially with trying new dishes that I never usually eat.
On Saturday, I went to a Roller Disco, which was awesome, I never fell over, but my hips hurt after a couple of hours! It's never a good a idea for someone with chronic back and hip pain to be doing that kinda thing... eek!
On Sunday, me and the family went to Jimmy Spice's in Wimbledon... it was wicked! The food was great, I loved spending time with them. It was a perfect way to end the celebratory week. :)

This was my birthday cake. It was soooo good- with vanilla icing and all sorts.
Thank you to everyone once again who sent their birthday wishes. <3

It's about that time.

First of all, I'd like to mention that I have some new beauties in my shop, in case you don't know! I love these pieces that I have created, and I think that they are a perfect thing to have this season.
But the most important update is about the price of my garments and accessories for sale at my shop. People always say that my garments are really inexpensive and the reason why is because I normally don't pay myself a decent wage... I pay myself the National Minimum Wage for the UK which is £6p/h, and with myself being a Londoner, it's not really enough to live on if I want to progress my business. With that effect, I will be increasing it to £8p/h. This however, doesn't mean that I am going to increase the price of my items already for sale in my shop- that would be awful! It also means that I am going to take the time to make the clothes with a greater quality, because it is less pressure to make the items as quickly as possible!
I hope you lovelies understand, and thank you all for supporting me so far!

Much Love Mondays #02
Hello all, and welcome to my 2nd Much Love Mondays! I will be showing a bunch of lovely items from my favorite lists on and off etsy.

So, without further ado, my theme is:
Illustration/Wearable Art

If it wasn't for the fact that my mum is a bit funny about spiritualism prints in other religions, I would have totally bought this. I love the colour and I love the print, it makes me smile. I worked with this company when I was selling at the Crafty Fox Market in Brixton, London last Christmas, and he inspired me to keep to my dreams and know that one day it will work out. :)

I love this T shirt, it's got me wanting to get back into illustration/printing again. One day, my friends, I will have a screen printed clothing line, which I hope will appeal to everyone! Anyways, what attracted me to this particular shop was the fact that the person behind it studies at Camberwell College of Arts, which is right near the house where I was born. I nearly went to that College but I really wanted to escape London to do my degree.

I love this t shirt, because for once the print is in handwriting rather than text. :) The shop is run by Emily, all in her living room in Brighton! One thing that I like about Brighton Artists is that its not all about funky, 80s alternative Clothing, its all really eclectic.
Here are some other cool pieces:

I have made a few patchwork clutches for my shop, which is my first collection. It is SUPER feminine/chic, and I hope you all love them as much as I do when I list them!
Anyway, I'm going to do some relaxing!
Have an awesome evening!

About the stuff I sell #02
I wanted to write about another bunch of items that hasnt sold yet on my shop.
I love this dress, if I were a size or so smaller, I'd be wearing this. This was a nightgown that was really lifeless, that I picked up from the charity shop. This would be a great thing to wear to festivals, or even to show how much of a flowerchild you are!check out these few items I think would go with this:
Black Faux Leather Upcycled Jacket
Upcycled Denim Stripe Bag
Monochrome Yarn Wrapped Bangles and Earrings set.On a final note, please check out my custom made for you shop. This is very cool for you, because you get a beautifully handmade item, for a slightly cheaper price. :)
Btw- I had an AWESOME weekend. <3
Have a great evening!

New Yarn Wrapped Bracelets on the Horizon...
Hello!
As promised, I am selling my bracelets on my etsy website. I am quite busy today, so I will only be listing two bracelet/earring sets.

I love making these bracelets, as they are always unique in every way, every bangle is different, they can never be exactly duplicated.
I think they enhance any simple outfit put together this season... so stop by at my shop and snag yourself a treat shortly.

Kaye Homewares.
I'm just making a post about my homewares store. I opened it in February and I have yet to make a sale. Its kinda annoying but meh, what are you gonna do? I'm clearly not promoting this enough.
So, here are a few things I sell at the moment:

This is my beautiful handmade paintbrush tidy. I made this from cotton, and it fits a range of sizes of paintbrushes, and is excellent to organise your paintbrushes, especially when you're on the go. These cost £9.

These are my pencil cases. They are lined with vintage cotton, so you can be ethical and have a unique thing for storing your pens and pencils. They are made with a mixture of cotton and polyester scrap fabric. They are all a unique piece, so you never will have a similar pencil case to someone else. These cost £6.

These are my handmade coasters. This is a beautiful piece to have in the home. Is really good for the boho chic/ eclectic environment. Is washable, and is sewn securely to last. They cost £9.

This is my handmade phone case. Is fully lined with cotton, and most of the patchwork used in these pieces are handmade, which is more reason to buy these. Sewn securely and has a drawstring fastening for extra security. They cost £3.
I'd be one happy bunny if these sold, but if they didnt, then I know theres something wrong, but I dont ever give up. I'm just not consistent in my efforts, such as promotion and what not. I plan to go back to basics with it, as I am a bit overwhelmed with everyones ideas as to how to bring sales to their shops. Sometimes simple is always best.
Anyway, I need to rest- the house is in a STATE, and I'd like to clean it up and get it in a decent state before easter and before I move out. I am also sewing up the rest of my collection and then hopefully going to a bbq, but we'll see how the day goes.
